The Government of Odisha launched a new program called ‘Nua O’ on December 1, 2023, for the development or improvement of students internal qualities and skills such as dancing, singing, modeling, sports, etc. Through the Nua O program, the government not only focuses on student education but also on public welfare. The main aim of the Nua O program is to empower Odisha’s youth with continuous skilling, reskilling, and upskilling opportunities and inclusive growth through skill development, combining modern technologies with traditional sectors for a dynamic and sustainable future. The government of Odisha added a new program called Nua O Scholarship Help for students to their continuous studies. The Nua O scholarship apply online process should be started soon.

Nua O Scholarship
The 5 T chairperson of Odisha (V Kartikeya Pandian) promises students in the Nua O stage program to be provided with a Nua O scholarship. He also informs students that the amount will be released in 20 to 25 February. Scholarships will be given to 9000 boys and 10,000 girls among all Odisha UG and PG students.

Nua O scholarship Eligibility
- Students enrolled in open universities or pursuing higher education through distance learning or correspondence courses, or undertaking self-financed courses under PPP mode, are ineligible to avail of scholarship under this scheme.
- Students currently receiving scholarships under any other schemes administered by the State or Central Government, except for the Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scheme, are ineligible.
- The students having their parents as govt employee or giving income tax are ineligible under this scheme.
Nua O scholarship apply process
- Students are required to apply online for it. They are required to download the undertaking form from the site, fill it up correctly and submit it hard copy to their respective HOD’s and they can take the acknowledgement of the same.
- If a student applies online , but does not submit the undertaking, his/her form will not be validated.
- If a student submits false undertakings, befitting punishments will be initiated by Govt.
- Eligible students are required to submit the undertakings by 17.02.24, for necessary validation and transmission to Govt. from our side.

2. Mo Bank/ Ama Bank
